Our workshop team are active racers and riders across MTB, road, enduro and triathlon - so when your bike comes in, it's being worked on by people who understand how it performs under real conditions. We carry out everything from puncture repairs and full strip-down services through to performance builds and suspension setup, on all makes and models. No guesswork, no shortcuts - just solid work from people who care about bikes as much as you do.

Chris Green

Founder

Chris founded Southfork in 2001 after spotting a gap in the Southwest cycling scene - plenty of bike shops, but very few that truly catered to serious riders and athletes. As an elite-level cross-country racer himself, he understood what performance cyclists actually needed. That insight built the foundation Southfork still stands on today.

Nick Butler

Director

Nick joined for a day in 2003 and never really left. A former European water-ski racing champion, he brings over 20 years of cycling and performance sport experience to everything he does. He races downhill and mega enduro across the UK and France, competes in XC at national level, and is the first to admit he's at his best on a climb or a corner.

Tyler Pollington

Director

Tyler first joined Southfork at 18 and returned in 2025 as part of the long-term future of the business. A top-level national downhill racer who has also competed across road, cross-country and enduro for over 12 years, Tyler brings passion, energy and a genuine love of cycling to both the shop floor and the direction of Southfork Cycles.

Martin Crocker

Manager

Martin brings a background in high street sports and corporate retail, and has helped shape the systems and standards that keep every customer fully informed from start to finish. Before Southfork, he worked with Scott in wind tunnel testing and product development - and he's also a committed triathlete, road racer and mountain biker.
